with a girl who takes shopping to a whole new level! Let me explain....
I am thrilled this weekend to host Jeni of Found Vintage Rentals. Jeni's company rents out vintage furniture and accessories for weddings, parties and corporate events.
I had already seen Jeni's site and blog, but I had no idea of her sure eye, and real flair for finding everything required for a truly vintage decor. Her inventory alone runs to pages of treasures.
I really think this is the coolest idea I have seen for a modern and romantic use of French brocante.
This weekend she has been buying new treasures for her catalogue of pieces to rent, so she can offer even more choice to her clients.
The inventory to her store of rental items covers eveything from seating to vintage shutters to the cutest chairs to trunks to birdcages ... I could go on for ever but it's better if you check it out directly.
Found Vintage Rentals is based in California, but they seem to supply their treasures to weddings a long way from home. In fact, if I were organising a wedding I would love to have Jeni style my decor!
Tomorrow I shall show you the pictures of Jeni shopping and of course of her loot shoot which makes mine look very modest in comparison.

A demain mes amis,
thank you for reading me!

Now wouldn't it be fun to shop her inventory? Oh the things you would find.....
ReplyDeleteWow, what a fun job she has! Beautiful images :)
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see her loot shoot, I always love seeing your so I am sure that someone that is purchasing inventory for a business is going to have a huge one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and fun day you must have had. Always a pleasure coming to "visit" here.
Have a happy Sunday!
Elizabeth
That must have been so much fun shopping with someone who knows what she wants and she wants lots. What an interesting company to supply vintage things to weddings - I'm curious to see what she bought.
ReplyDeleteWhatna fabulous idea! But even more fabulous the creativity and soulfulness of her clients
ReplyDeleteSounds like Jeni has a great business model Sharon. Enjoy going along on the brocante trail as her knowledgeable Wing Gal!

ReplyDeleteWe have movie studios come to our shop and rent/buy props for films in nyc, but I have never had the pleasure of shopping with such a pro! What a fun weekend......you must come to NYC soon, I will take YOU to the flea markets in the city on Sundays!
ReplyDeleteGenius. Wow. That is the best idea I've heard of in a long time - renting pieces to help create a mood for an event. And the pieces are gorgeous!
ReplyDeletewhoop whoop jeni, you go girl! i love and miss you!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a job! How wonderful to have a legit reason to source AND BUY all those vintage gems. Then to see them used again and again in settings befitting their charm... I am green with envy (a nice, pale, washed out celadon green, that is..!)
